Scientific Calculator
Scientific calculator with sin/cos/tan, log, roots, powers, factorials, nCr, DEG/RAD, Ans, history and science constants. Free, no sign-up, and it runs in your browser — your files are never uploaded.
How to use
- Type an expression like sqrt(2)*(3+4)^2, or use the keys
- Switch DEG/RAD for angles and 2nd for inverse functions
- Press = or Enter; Ans reuses the last result
Questions
How do I use functions like sqrt or log?
Type the name followed by brackets: sqrt(16) = 4, log(100) = 2, ln(e) = 1, sin(30) = 0.5 in DEG mode. Two-value functions use a comma: log(8, 2) = 3, nCr(5, 2) = 10, root(27, 3) = 3.
What does 5! mean?
Factorial: 5! = 5 × 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 120.
How do I get e or π?
Type pi (or π) and e. Science constants such as c, g, h, NA and R are listed under Constants.
Do I need an account?
No. Every tool is free to use without signing up.
Is my data uploaded?
No. This tool runs in your browser, so the text and files you use stay on your device.
