How secure is it?

It uses AES-256-GCM with a key derived from your password (PBKDF2, 250,000 rounds). It is as strong as your password — use a long one and share it separately.

Do I need an account?

No. Every tool is free to use without signing up.

Is my data uploaded?

No. This tool runs in your browser, so the text and files you use stay on your device.
