No. Text recognition runs in your browser. The first time you use a language, its data (a few MB) is downloaded and then cached.
Why are some words wrong?
OCR works best on sharp, well-lit, straight images. Crop to the text and make sure the right language is selected.
Do I need an account?
No. Every tool is free to use without signing up.
Is my data uploaded?
No. This tool runs in your browser, so the text and files you use stay on your device.
